NEW DNS CHANGES FOR MAC USERS

FOR TCP/IP

1. Click once on your apple icon in the upper left-hand corner. (left mouse button)
2. Click once on control panel (left mouse button).
3. Click once on TCP/IP (left mouse button).
4. In the bottom left hand corner you will see a box that says: Name server addr:
5. In that box you need to put the following numbers in:

63.210.22.8

63.210.22.9

6. This will be the only thing you will change do not change anything else.
7. After the numbers are entered in click on the X in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
8. It will ask you if you want to save the changes you have made.
9. Click on yes.
10. Your done

FOR MAC TCP

1.    Click once on your apple icon in the upper left-hand corner. (left mouse button)

2. Click once on control panel (left mouse button).
3. Click once on MAC TCP (left mouse button).
4. Click once on the more button (left mouse button).
5. In the box right-hand corner you will see Domain Name Server Information.
6. It should like the following example.
7. Domain                  IP address

tidalwave.net                63.210.22.8

tidalwave.net                63.210.22.9

11. Click OK
12. Your done

FOR FREE PPP

1.  Click once on your apple icon in the upper left-hand corner. (left mouse button)

2. Click once on control panel (left mouse button).
3. Click once on FREE PPP (left mouse button).
4. Click on the account tab once (left mouse button).
5. Click on edit once (left mouse button)
6. Click on Options once (left mouse button)
7. It should look like the following

Domain name: tidalwave.net

Primary DNS: 63.210.22.8

Secondary DNS: 63.210.22.9

IP Address

Assigned by PPP server (should have a dot in it)

8. Click OK
9. Then click on the General tab (left mouse button)
10. Click on “Open TCP/IP” or just “TCP/IP”

13. In the bottom left hand corner you will see a box that says: Name server addr:
14. In that box you need to put the following numbers in:

63.210.22.8

63.210.22.9

15. This will be the only thing you will change do not change anything else.
16. After the numbers are entered in click on the X in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
17. It will ask you if you want to save the changes you have made.
18. Click on yes.
19. Your done
